The Ministry of Economy and Finance of Castilla y León, through the Directorate General of Energy and Mines, has convened a package of grants for an amount of more than six million euros. These aids for renewable energies are co-financed at 50% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Its objective is to promote the use of renewable energies and promote projects to improve energy efficiency in the community.
The Official Gazette of Castilla y León published last Friday an extract of the order to call a line of aid for renewable energies, to promote the adoption of measures that favor a more efficient and sustainable use of energy in the business world. These incentives can be chosen by large companies that carry out their activity in Castilla y León, SMEs, self employed workers and farmers and ranchers.
The amount of aid ranges between 15% and 40% of the cost of the project, depending on the savings generated, the maximum amount will be 200,000 euros, although in the case of implementation of Energy Management Systems the percentage reaches 75 %.
Regarding the promotion of renewable energies, the Ministry of Economy and Finance keeps open two calls. The first one, aimed at companies, large companies, SMEs, self-employed workers and farmers, promotes the use of alternative sources such as photovoltaic solar energy. The percentage of public support ranges between 25% and 40% of eligible expenditure.
The aid will be processed exclusively by telematic means, through the electronic headquarters of the Castilla y León Board.
We take care of everything:
